PPN assists in first-ever pediatric spine cases in Ethiopia

Staff and volunteers from Purple Point Neurodiagnostics and MindLight Academy traveled to Cure Children's Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia recently to assist in the first pediatric spine cases in the country. Over the last 12 months, MindLight Academy (PPN's IONM training program) has been training three local technologists in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring. These students monitored six spine procedures which contributed to the safe, and very successful outcome for all patients.
